1. Division 1 (D1) is a higher division than Division 2 (D2)

2. Intra-Division Play is defined as a matchup between a D1 team and another D1 team at any point during an event:

  • A win out of range will award the team 3 points

  • A win in range will award the team 2 points

  • A loss in range will award the team 1 point

3. Inter-Division play is defined as a matchup between a D1 team and a D2 team at any point during an event:

  1. For D1 teams:

  • A win out of range will award the team 1 point

  • Only the first two games against a specific D2 team can count for points

    • A win in range will not award the team any points

  1. For D2 teams:

    • A win will award the team 6 points

    • A loss in range will award the team 2 points

4. No D1 team is obligated to play a USQ unofficial team

5. USQ Unofficial games will count towards WCC Standings if:

  • USQ referee payment procedures are followed

  • WCC commissioners are informed of this matchup in advance

  • WCC commissioners approve the inclusion of the matchup

6. Promotion and Relegation:

  • Every season, the lowest ranked D1 team is relegated to D2 for the next season

  • Every season, the highest ranked D2 team is promoted to D1 for the next season

7. Winning The Division:

  • Chandra Cup: A championship series (consisting of 3 games) between the two top ranked D1 teams will be played to determine the winner of the Chandra Cup

  • Stanton Trophy: The D2 team with the highest points at the end of the season will be given the Stanton Trophy.

8. WCC Commissioners hold the final call on league standings and validity of games towards the league. Cases of collusion, or any other incidents will be handled on a case-by-case basis by league officials.

9. League policies may be updated to facilitate a higher standard without any notice
